Get bUoyed Up! [It's Not Always About You]

Most people in life do things for the sole purpose of garnering attention and prominence for themselves. They seem to have no interest in how their purpose can affect others.  I believe one of the main reasons for our being is to impact the lives of other people. The unwillingness to share your gifts and talents with others is self-centered and heartless.  A sure sign that you are still growing and developing as a human being, is when you have a selfish mentality. When you are blessed with knowledge and a high level of understanding, spread that intellectual gift with others. If you are financially blessed, share your wealth. If you are mechanically or technologically astute, don't covet your skillsets and abilities from others. If you are a believer and God has gifted you with a supernatural gift (healing, prophecy, wisdom etc.), this does not mean that you are better than someone else or that God thinks more highly of you. It simply means that you were purposed to impact the liv

Get bUoyed Up! [If Men Won't Do It Women Will]

Since the beginning of time, God has established the covenant of leadership with man representing him on the earth to rule over all creation. He had an expectation of man to rule with a pure heart and a righteous mind. We as men were ordained to serve God and follow a hierarchy of spiritual principles to ensure that the order of operation of the earth's existence was and is in line with God's plan. We were strategically placed in a positioned role.  As time progressed, we as men, continued to violate and distance ourselves from God's covenant purpose of leadership and structural order. If I can speak candidly, we simply starting falling short of our purpose and position on the earth. As I focus on the current and modern times, one thing has became abundantly clear, as man decreased or slowly dissipated in his purposed position, the woman has increased and slowly elevated to levels of responsibility in our society today. I know this sounds controversial, but lets examine th

Get bUoyed Up! [The Double-Minded Soul]

In our circle of relationships, we can all attest to having that one person in our lives who seems to be difficult to bond with. No matter how hard you try, their character makes it hard to establish that solid connection.  When you are around them they can be nice and endearing at one moment and then in a split second they have flipped and seem angry, obnoxious or rude the next. This individual is the essence of the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde expression. The good in them (Dr. Jekyll) is what you would like to see all the time, but for some strange reason, they cannot control the bad (Mr. Hyde) from rearing his ugly head at any moment to ruin the vibe of all around.  The Bible states, "A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways." James chapter 1 verse 8. This simply means that the person has a Double-Minded Soul or that they are in constant opposition with their inner selves. It is sad to say, but you have to extend a casual courtesy of distance in how you relate to them u

Get bUoyed Up! [Two Sides To Every Story]

In the court of law, when a person is on trial for an alleged crime or civil injustice, the details and evidence of the crime is presented by the prosecution. The job of the prosecution is to present the evidence in a manner so convincing, that it eliminates the stain of doubt and convinces the courtroom of the indicted individual's guilt. One of the awesome pillars of the justice system, however fair we deem it to be, is that the defense, just like the prosecution, gets to advocate in contrast of the evidence on behalf of the accused. It is the job of the defense to actually prove the innocence of  it's client or at the very least cast a shadow of doubt against the evidence presented by the prosecution. Regardless if you are for the prosecution or the defense, the analogy here is that there are two sides to every case. In life it is no different, for every situation or circumstance, there are two sides to every story.  There is a passage in the Bible the states, "A story
