Get bUoyed Up! [Two Sides To Every Story]

In the court of law, when a person is on trial for an alleged crime or civil injustice, the details and evidence of the crime is presented by the prosecution. The job of the prosecution is to present the evidence in a manner so convincing, that it eliminates the stain of doubt and convinces the courtroom of the indicted individual's guilt. One of the awesome pillars of the justice system, however fair we deem it to be, is that the defense, just like the prosecution, gets to advocate in contrast of the evidence on behalf of the accused. It is the job of the defense to actually prove the innocence of  it's client or at the very least cast a shadow of doubt against the evidence presented by the prosecution. Regardless if you are for the prosecution or the defense, the analogy here is that there are two sides to every case. In life it is no different, for every situation or circumstance, there are two sides to every story.  There is a passage in the Bible the states, "A story can sound true until the other side is told to set the record straight." This can be found in Proverbs chapter 18 verse 17. It is immature and reckless to assume and believe that when you hear one side of a story or rumor, it's worth its weight in gold.  Remember, there is always two sides to every narrative. It is important that you allow the situation or circumstance to run its course and let all the details play themselves out before you form an opinion or make a judgment call on what you have been told or heard, especially, when it comes to people. It never ceases to amaze me how we as a people are so quick to jump on the bandwagon of the initial storyline about someone else and not wait to hear that person's defense. When the focal point is turned toward us though, we want everyone to here our side. We want everyone to know our truth. If you feel your truth should be heard why can't that same mentality be applied to someone else's situation. Every person should have a fair opportunity to present their side or perspective. This allows the whole picture to be revealed and fairness to both parties involved to be established in the situation. You have just been bUoyed Up!
